Jake is a 4 yr. old Maltese/Poodle Mix boy who weighs 14 lbs. This adorable boy has three fused vertebrae near his tail, causing his back to be very sensitive. He came from an abusive home, and would do best as an only dog in an adult household. Jake will not play with other dogs, and considers the big bed to be his territory, which he will guard from the other furry ones. He is nicely house trained, when taken out for regular breaks. Jake has a way of hopping back and forth on his back legs, when trotting or walking quickly, due to his condition. This adorable boy’s new parents must be mindful of his sensitive back, and be careful while picking him up to make sure he never becomes twisted. Jake is fostering in Florida, and ready to find his home.
