2024 Tzu-Union Itinerary

 

9:00 am Check in 

9:30 am Introductions all around and we will begin our educational sessions that will go
through 12:30 and again in the afternoon these will include such topics as how to raise a
happy furbaby, health concerns, behavior, dealing with mill pups etc., (a more detailed
schedule will be available at check in.)

12:30 -1 :30 pm Lunch will be served and dogs will be walked.

1 :30 – 5:30 pm Educational sessions continue.

6:00 pm Dinner will be followed by a Furbaby Parade. Show off your little ones and tell us their
stories. Fancy Dress or costumes welcome. And we will talk, this will be a great time for
fundraising and public relations discussions or anything pertinent to STFBR’s growth and
welfare. Topics will depend on participant interest.

7:00 pm – Bingo with Kelly Zen, in memory of our beloved Joanne Orlando who entertained
us with her Bingo and jokes and loved our rescue dearly.

 

 9:00 am – Check in

9:30 am Anxiety, medications, T-Touch therapy.

10:00-12:00 pm Grooming demonstration, you will learn how to keep your babies
comfortable and adorable between visits to your groomer. We will discuss how to
choose a groomer. This is a relaxed “ask the groomer” session with expert
demonstrations.

12:30 Lunch will be served and dogs will be walked.

1:30 – 5:30 pm Training tips and basic manners for forever and foster dogs with Kelly Zen
addressing your training and behavior concerns, K9 CPR with Carol Mason, further
items will be added.

5:30 – Dinner followed by a ticket and basket raffle drawings

7:00 pm – Live Auction featuring a live auctioneer (volunteer). A fun event with great items.
All proceeds go directly to saving the dogs.

9:00 am Breakfast

9:30 am – Lost dog protocol, what to do if your dog goes missing and how to prevent it.
Fostering versus adoption, how to love them and let them go. Preparing for transport.

10:30 am – Agility and Clicker training with Norma Brizzi.

12:30 pm  Lunch and dog walks

The Tzu-Union will officially end after lunch on Sunday. Meredith and others will be available thru Monday. 

We always need help with set up and break down so anyone who wants to come early and
stay late is more than welcome.

Well-behaved, or well-dressed (belly bands and prissy pants) small dogs are welcome, and may attend everything. 

Dress is casual, food is great, and the pups are adorable. I welcome your suggestions, offers of help, and most of all, your presence!
