Annabelle, a sweet eleven year old, 12lb. Shih Tzu, was dearly loved. Sadly, her human mom was dying of cancer and unable to care for her. She was left alone in the apartment for months after her mom passed, until we were called. Annabelle came to us with terrible skin, eye and ear infections. She was hairless, with bleeding sores. She is still seeing specialists for her ears and eyes and skin, and through it all, she remains sweet and loving. Annabelle is available for adoption, to someone who can commit to continue her medical care, including the probability of expensive ear surgeries (ablations). She is fostering in NY.
