Bonnie and Sally

These Sweetie Wheatie sisters (Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers), Bonnie and Sally, are bonded and will be adopted together. They are both 6 yrs old, with Bonnie born on 2/10/16 and Sally’s birth date 3/11/16. They weigh 36 and 39 pounds.

They have the sweetest disposition and will enjoy gentle petting as they become comfortable with you. They like to walk and romp in the fenced yard and they get along well with the other dogs in their foster home. They are doing nicely with their house training when brought out every few hours, and will use a pee pad for longer times when left alone. They are great in a car and do okay on a leash with harnesses.

Bonnie and Sally are puppy mill survivors, and need ongoing socialization and confidence building.

They also need a fenced yard and a confident dog to learn from. Bonnie had surgery for mammary tumors which were benign – this is common in dogs used for breeding. Bonnie is also on medication for seizures. She has had only two seizures since May, so we know the medication is working for her.

These girls have gentle souls and are ready for the next step in their lives – to be happy, free, loved and adopted.

They are currently fostering in the northeast.
