Hot Rod is a 2.5 yr old, gold and white male Shih Tzu who was a breeder pup.
When he grew to 18lb, he was surrendered to rescue. Hot Rod may be bigger than most Shih Tzus in size, but he is also a very large personality. Hot Rod loves to sit with you and gets very excited when it’s treat time. He walks well on a leash and is learning house training quickly. He is a very quick learner and just recently found toys.
Hot Rod would love a mellow playmate that he can learn from, and a fenced yard. He spent much of his young life in a crate and loves the freedom of a fenced yard.
