Poppy is a 22 month old Shi Tzu with special needs. Poppy was born with neuromuscular issues and because of that she cannot walk like a normal pup and she is blind. That being said, Poppy is a very happy, kissy little girl. She is a 9 pound love bug. Poppy can maneuver herself around and she also has a specialized wheelchair to help her. Poppy was born this way and has seen many specialists, she will not get any better, but will not get worse, she needs someone special to take car of her special needs. Poppy loves people and toys, she wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and give kisses. She will wiggle her little self to your feet and lay her head there until you pick her up and love her. Poppy knows how to use wee wee pads and loves to go outside in her wheelchair to sit in the sun. Even with all of her challenges she really is an easy dog to care for and with a little commitment and care she can bring so much joy. Poppy does great at the groomer and on car rides.
